Ok, I'm hating Lady Barkley now. But I'm so glad to learn more of Cameron's background--of the liberal arts training he received for a time, and of the mystery involving Lord Orland. (Honestly,though, I'm starting to wonder if someone as smart and snarky as Cameron is just too intimidating for Lord Barkley.)

I'm wondering too why Barkley has kept Cameron and not sold him--maybe it's a hint of decency in him. Maybe he feels obligated to provide him with a permanent home, and not just to dispose of him. (Or am I overly optimistic?)

Anyway, still totally shipping Hadley/Cameron! I love that Hadley admits--to himself, at least--that Cameron is just as capable of fucking with him as vice-versa!

At the moment it's hard to understand why a slave like Cameron would not be of interest anymore... Give him to me, Lord Barkley, I'd make sure he had plenty to do :-D

It will be interesting to see if Hadley gains some new insight after this party.

I have a real feeling of dread about this party. *is concerned*
Like many posters, I would take Cameron in a heartbeat. But I can see a man like Lord Barkley being completely at a loss with him, unable to keep him and unable/unwilling to let him go, either.
Looking forward to more!

Coming here a little late, but I found this via the slavefic communities and ooh! I just read this from the start and I'm very, very taken by this. I love your writing, I love the complex characters, and I definitely love where you're taking this. I'm very much looking forward to more. :)
