How well betrayal becomes them.

Well, if that isn't them summed up completely in five neat little words, I don't know what is.

oh, that was wonderful! dark, bitter and perfect (much like the lady herself).

Even Topher at the height of his genius couldn't create someone with such greatness set against such devastating cruelty.

This is so true and beautiful.

I loved the whole thing ♥

Ah, nice! I think it's a really interesting AU, and I like her interaction with Echo at the end.

Thanks - I'm glad you liked it. I really wanted to write a scene where they didn't talk - but just communicated, even if it was still all messed up

So much going on w/o a word spoken between them. They see and acknowledge the best and worst in each other. What better basis upon which to build a relationship ... or destroy one. Wow.

Thanks, I'm glad you saw what I was getting at - all that they could be and all that they are and not a single word to each other.
There's also the sense that his freedom is hell anyway - and not just because, if you take it as cannon, the thoughtpocalypse happens anyway. In my happier moments I like believing that Echo is right.

This one really spoke to me. I've read it a few times now and I think it's because it's so different from what I am comfortable writing. My stuff is dialogue driven. Always is. It's what I'm better at. I admire the ability (that I dont' have) to convey complicated stuff w/o words.

Your happier moments feel accurate to me. For what that's worth!

I really love your dialogue - and your ability to tell a story in one part, which I struggle with these days. Your stuff on ff.net is brilliant - all nuanced and witty, with hints of D/D. I like the way you write Dom as more than a glorified security guard - with staff and involvement with clients. It reads as how things would be.
