I just got the most random useless voicemail. Like 15 seconds of what sounded vaguely like music from a car stereo and then nothing. No talking, no identifying. And I didn't have enough reception for my phone to register that I got a call at all. NO way to know who called me. I am painfully curious who was calling me at 11pm now

Sounds accidental. Maybe someone called you with their butt. Do you know anyone who has you in speed dial, on a bar type cell phone, that they keep in their pocket?

If you're really curious you could post a Facebook status asking your friends to check their outgoing call history for the time in question.
