This was an excellent story and you managed to tie pregnancy into the prompt. It is an impossible situation to be in. Is the risk of losing your wife worth the possibility of maybe having a child later? I think I know what I would do, but who knows if the choice really had to be made.

Which is why Sean shies away from it. He loves her, chooses her, but can't influence her because they've been through years of trying now, and he doesn't know where her mind is. His own issues prevent him from actually verbalising that right now.

I have lots of feelings about these two.

What a terrible situation to be in, after trying so hard to have a baby and having lost several already. But this heartbreak is all too real for some couples.

You brought out the emotions and the prompt really well here.

This was heartbreaking and I felt for them. The emotions were very well conveyed. Some decisions in life are really tough. This was one such situation. A great take on the prompt. Kudos!
