Dana and the Ball

He hadn't liked Rebekah's interruption to his nice afternoon with Dana, but the two had made up. And it was a little later that he'd finally looked that the invitation that Klaus had dropped off before he'd hauled his sister away. He didn't really want to, but he knew it'd be best if they went. To see first hand what the Originals were up to, keep ( Read more... )

Dana didn't want to at all. And had had no intention of going either. Besides, Stefan and Elena were going, wasn't that enough of this household going? It was a ball full of monsters what that was and half the town would be in attendance though and that worried Dana a bit ( ... )

Damon would much rather stay curled up here in their room than go, making each other make pretty sounds. But it was always the best idea to make sure they kept up with what was going on with the Originals. Especially when they were inviting damn near all of the town, or at least all the important people in town.

Part of it really was to make sure nothing happened to their attendees, though what a vampire and a hunter would do against a family of originals he wasn't sure if something went wrong. He had been secretive about what was going on, he knew, but he also knew she'd be dragging him off to find out what had left that hand on her shoulder if he'd told her she'd have to wear a dress.

He smiled at her, at that puppy dog look from her. She was so unbelievably adorable sometimes. He dipped to kiss her softly. "Unfortunately we need to keep an eye on all of them." And truthfully, he didn't trust Stefan or Elena to do what needed to be done if some action were needing to take place.

"Come on. Time to get dressed."

He promises he'll make it up to her with lots of screaming in pleasure after the party, he promises. But they both know that if something happened as she wasn't there, she'd hate it.

He smirked just a little as she huffed like that. And yes, he did. Because he was willing to do anything that would keep them alive where as Elena and Stefan always considered the casualties first and their lives second.

Watching her as she moved to the bathroom to get changed, he actually had to chuckle. She'd barely been dressed around him since she'd come back, but she had to change into formal wear in the bathroom. Though his eyes slide along her and darken as she steps out in that dress. She was absolutely breath taking. "I know curves, and I think I've been sliding my hands and mouth along yours enough to know them well." He moves to take that diamond necklace from her before moving around behind her so he could settle it around her neck. His touch is gentle as he smiles. "I would have thought you'd know a diamond necklace when you saw one."
