Man that sounds really intriguing, but I don't drive and the buses wig me out and I live in Bellevue. I wan to be Cass for Halloween and I'm slowly getting the costume together and only have the trenchcoat part :). It' a good idea, they really need to have conventions here in Washington. I know they have them in Vancover but not everyone as a passport.
Why do the buses wig you out? That was my main method of transportation back when I lived in the Seattle area. I was near to Bothell and would commute to UW on bus almost daily.
And for the passport issue, you can go to the DOL and get one of those enhanced driver's license. It'll work as a passport too. I think it costs $25. My brother has one.
I'm a parnoid person seriously it's not even funny. One bad experenice on the bus and it's ruined me for life. Can you get a DOL if you don't have Driver's License because all I have is a Washington State Identification card, because me being me I just turned 22 and still nervous about learning how to drive. Still it be nice if they came down here, it's really not that far away. What they really need to do is lower filming costs in our state and then maybe they can film here.
I was Castiel last year and successfully confused many people with my serious gravelly voice. XD
Hm, I'd offer to give you a ride but we are strangers. :/ Maybe some of us should meet and then spread word that the others aren't completely nuts. (build a circle of trust, heehee) What's wiggy about the buses? I've ridden them for years and yeah, had some unpleasant experiences, but overall it's a good "point A to point B" transport.
Hmmm. There's a lot of great pubs in Ballard, and walking around there is a lot less creepy than walking around downtown, if it's at night. Oddfellows Cafe on Capitol Hill is great, too, for daytime OR night, or The Elysian for something more restaurant-y. But if downtown/Belltown is easier, The Blarney Stone is good, as is the bar at The Croc. And of course there's tons of great coffee shops in every neighborhood.
Well, Oddfellows and The Elysian, or any of the bountiful coffee shops wouldn't require 21+. If I think harder, I'm sure I can come up with more cafe-type places. I just don't go there as much, because I'm usually in Seattle at night, lol!
I love the Ballard idea from the Fluffers. And it would be great to meet with other SPN fans. Just as long as you don't mind an old lady hanging out with you (I'm 37 but I've noticed this fandom is pretty young)
We could also take over Zeek's Pizza in either Queen Anne or Phinney Ridge, as long as a game isn't on.
Haha, I didn't have friends my age until I hit 19 - I had people in their late twenties/early thirties and little kids as my peeps. You and your onion belt are quite welcome! *hug*
Mmmm, Zeek's sounds good. Let me update this journal with more ideas...
Sooo I kinda just got back into LJ for this, mostly I've just been lurking, but, you kinda inspired me to kinda... get into gear with things and meet new people andddd I kinda want to go to this, first time seeing that Washington Supernatural fans exist, so yeah... BUT I HAVENT POSTED IN SPNP AT ALL where i've seen you, you don't know me, so, idk s;dkjngksjgn;kjn also I guess I might be kinda young, but it's cool that mostly decisions have zeroed mostly in on pizza
The secondary reason I joined LJ was for this purpose. A little creepy perhaps, but the idea of meeting other Washington fans (do they even exist?! Lol) is honestly so exciting I don't care. Age is no problem as long as you can get there, oxygen tank or not. ;)
Hm, my dear lurker, you know of me and I not at all of you. >_> This (former) master lurker approves!
oh my god i thought i replied, but lj PROBABLY ate my reply, because i was staring at my gmail wondering /oh god did i say something remotely scary
Yes, you did inspire someone, lots. Granted I haven't, uh, spoofed up my LJ to depart from my animu days, it'll.. get there. And yes they exist! I meet a few Supernatural fans on my own, aaaand I kinda wish I could drag my friend along but it's a maybe on her part for now.
I DO HAVE ONE QUESTION. IF WE ATTEND ZEEKS, ON THAT DAY, AT THAT TIME--umm how will I know who to poke and be like are you a supernatural fan because I might just end up standing there awkwardly..
