We have the most wonderful holiday of a year today, probably the only one i enjoy and anticipate even if im a bit out of range in this case. Its St Nicolas Day and its when kids get presents put under their pillows at night. So i imagine my part of the world wakes up to massive squealing and hopping by thousands of thousands of little and not so

This entry smells of sweets, of childhood dreams. This entry is warm like a pie right from an oven. This entry made me smile :)
I think what you write about just proves that certain things in life are always there. They can't be defeated by artificial regimes or by someone's evil will. There's always our need for warmth and little things that make our lives better. And your tradition sounds like one of those little things.

aw you liked this our tradition. its because maybe you have a sweet tooth like i do?:) and youre so right about this holiday feeling like a warm pie from an oven,yes yes, its like that, such little thing bringing so much joy. little things which are the most important ones cause they make kids and grown up kids smile and feel good:)
