We did this in my fiction class... reading segments of short stories aloud in a dramatic form... it's called reading theater and it is AMAZING. It's scary to actually PERFORM, but to be the audience... man, it can be intense. Plus, somehow it helps you remember so much more than the plot, but also the literary devices, how they are used, and what would work best in your own stories.... I LOVE READING THEATER. :)

AND J. R. R. TOLKIEN. HE WAS AMAZING.

I LOVE TOLKIEN. I did a project on him in the sixth grade.

I'd probs want to hear SMeyer, just for the lulz, but, seriously, I'd like to hear Cecily von Ziegasar, not because she is my favorite writer by any means, but because she seems like a really fun person. My favorite writer is actually Nicholas Sparks. The Notebook! A Walk To Remember! God, I love him.
