Last night at the Riverside Live House in Taibei 1976 performed songs from their upcoming album to be released 11/06/09.  Videos courtesy of evonndog.

First song:   夜晚還年輕 The Night Is Still Young. 
I think lead singer 阿凱 A Kai gets a kick out of how many people know the words already. 
The song debuted on the radio 12 days earlier.

I'm excited about a new 1976 album! I liked their old stuff I found from you (here or at mysupercloud) and I love Asteroid, so I can't wait for the new one. :D

Not to rub it in, but I sooo wish you could see the performance of 夜晚還年輕. Should I upload it at youku then delete after you watch it haha?

If it's THAT worth it, then I would much appreciate it! I haven't watched any performance videos of theirs, so I'd love to see what they're like on stage. You probably don't have to delete it though, haha ;)

Well, it's probably just me. I think A Kai is adorable when he smiles because people are singing along and it's kinda rare to get a 1976 live video with decent audio (& smiles). BUT youku isn't letting me upload it because it doesn't recognize the file type... heck I don't even recognize the file type. If I figure out how to convert it, I'll let ya know :(

Oh wow, they're releasing an album? That's so awesome. This is something I want to pimp. I've really liked the stuff I have heard from them. A Kai definitely seems amused in that first vid.

Lol...I like how the Taiwanese vids are on youtube and the mainland ones are on Youku.

1976's new song 流浪者之路 is going have it's broadcast premiere tonight at http://hitoradio.im.tv/videomusic/2b_1.php
From what I read on this page- http://www.indievox.com/1976 I think there might be a video to follow? If it comes out, I'll be sure to post it up.

Also the Hitradio site shows Crowd's, I No, as a new release to premiere on the same show. That song was on one of his earlier EPs but the whole thing was in a helium voice baha... so I guess the regular version will be on the new album. Ah new releases are so much fun!

New releases are awesome, but this sucks because I wanted to go hiatusing this week because I have two big tests next two each other.

And I wanted idarklight to cover for me...but she doesn't really have the love for indie rock that I do. And I think she's just done with her break.

Why are some many awesome Taiwanese people releasing at once??? It's not fair!

Well the album doesn't come out for a few weeks yet so there's no rush. I've got projects due this week but if you can wait til the weekend I can help you out.
