So I read this in the middle of memorizing a Tripwire map and I keep thinking, hrn, Kahlan's b/a and quite the no-nonsense kinda gal. >_> I wonder who she reminds me of.

I love chapter 2. This scene was just so much more better in the book then the show. I love their first meeting. Its just amazing. I JUST LOVE IT ALL! Like, one of my fav. parts, more specifically, is when Richard calls Kahlan his friend and she is like "OMG! SRSLY?"

Micheal was much more of a douche in the books. But oddly enough, I think I like his character more in the books. Although I kinda like the books more so Im biased.

I think Michael's character has a lot more depth in the books.

I love beginning!Richard. He's all, "I know the woods! I'm a woods guide! Yep, guide of the woods, that'd be me!" He's just so cute, and all he wants to do is just hang out and, idk, map out trails and be adorable. If only he could see a future of golden capes and magic.

I read this book after season 1 and I was still able to picture richard and kahlan differently. I picture book kahlan as looking more like vivianne and I always picture chase as Jay, LOL.
