There was a series like this by Cook - shining silver pennies or something - every book was to do with a metal and it was pretty good as I recall - not Black Company good, but pretty good.

YES READ THEM re: Black Company. They're even anthology-ized, for convenience. well, the 1st 3 are, anyway.

Malazone, it is like a calzone but filled with empty promises that I'll read it. I have them, though! On my bookshelf! So close! I can literally touch them!
