I kicked over my can of coke. Metaphor for my life?

So, random crap that no one cares about happened this week. My boss wasn't at work, yay, but the dipshit new Consultant they appointed was, boo. I broke my Sims and lost my legacy family, boo, but I made a new one and playing it has been super fun, yay. I had so much Sushi and Pina Colada, I wanted to puke ( Read more... )

So much sushi you wanted to puke? That sounds like my Saturday. I should learn control. Wow, you've taken on a lot!

I am not a huge sushi fan to start with, and I think the puking might have had something to do with the salmon maki; two difficult to chew items does not make for good nomming. That or my stomach had ZOMG!RICE!OVERLOAD reaction.

I hope you come up with a new idea for your Merlin bigbang! But otherwise it might be good for you to have one less story to deal with?

I am once again digging through the kink meme hopping to find something that sparks. Desperate times. Theoretically one less fic is a good thing, but in practice that would involve a lot of self loathing over giving up so easily. I still beat myself up for not finishing nanowrimo in 2005. Accepting defeat is one thing, but throwing in the towel? I would die from sheer lameness.

I hope you find something there!

Oh the self loathing of giving up. I am going to be annoyed with myself forever for not finishing nano last year. So yeah, I hope you'll figure out something!

I sure hope so as well. I have 3 days of Merlin writing scheduled this week!

If I don't find a good prompt, my brain will start going down the murky road of songfic or movie plots (which I had been hoping to just this one year avoid, lol). Terrible things will occur!

Any progress, is good progress. well, at least in my book right now. :D

Any way hope you find a new, better idea. I'm in a similar situation with my J2 BB, but hopefully not for long. :)

You are not wrong, there should not be complaints about progress, and I am happy that there was some, just more would have been nice.

I pretty much covered everything of my original J2 idea in the first scene and have been writing filler ever since. It is... strangely working for me. Gonna be hell to edit, sure, but random bar banter is apparently my happy place.

You are still making amazing progress, that's good right?

Uh, uh...what was the original idea for the Merlin BB? Have you got a new plan yet?

Progress is so hard to accomplish when there is reading to be done. But, any progress is still progress. \o/ Go, go, bb!
