Fake Nails
I hate Fake nails.
I don't know how people get them done every week, they usually look tacky, too much design on one hand, or out of place, pink stylized nails on girls that wear track suits and have flat fried hair. I like the french manicure on some people, but when they are super long and square I just think of some shitty 90's porn star.
I currently have long, rectangular (but slightly sounded edges) fake nails. They are not acrylic, I get packs of 100 black ones from a strain of stores around Tokyo. I don't pay for them, and they stayed glued on well enough for me to find them worth it. I also don't pay for them (I used to get acrylics last summer in America. $20 every 2 weeks was slightly irritating, but in Japan it's way more expensive)
That's just me though. I like being able to function, and I like the look of elongated, slender fingers which the nails help me achieve. As for when the fake nails come off, looking/feeling my real nails make me cringe >_
