I know two truths, and perhaps this is all inspired by watching a tragic love story but I still feel compelled to write it.

My first truth is that I am in love with the most wonderful person.

My second truth is that I won’t fail at succeeding in life because even when I forget about my courage and strength he helps me find it.

The day began early with a couple of SEPTA tokens and the 30th St. interchange. I didn't sleep well last night! I had some sort of dream, and I don't remember much of it but I remember the feeling of it. Some woman was doing something, and she didn't want me in the way. This evening I decided to go to Robinson Park and play my guitar. It was nearly dusk so I knew no one would be there because that is when the park is supposed to close. Today I had the pleasure of seeing Meagan. That’s not Megan everyone its MEA-gan (pronounced “MAY” gan). Meagan is not only my cousin and best and dearest friend but she is one of the few people on this planet who have a doctorate in April.

Gifted! What does it mean to be a gifted anyway? All I remember is being young and watching three or four of the most beautiful and popular girls being taken away twice away for “gifted classes!” These gifted girls intrigued me; I’d ponder about the places they were going and the things they were doing.
