I'd love to grab a PTR 91 before the inauguration but I don't think the budget can handle it. I settled for an old High Standard 12 gauge instead.
And I used to own a Mopar. A 1966 Dodge Dart with a 318. :) Had to sell it though, now I have a Studebaker instead.

Funny you would mention D'Andrea's though. I'm within walking distance of Frank's old location. What stop you work at (if you don't mind?)?
I'm not a huge fan of EBRs, really, but the PTR91 is on my very short list. I generally prefer the old stuff. Wood and cosmoline instead of plastic. Mausers, Garands, Mosin-Nagants, Enfields.
I figure the best "Obama gun" for me would be an SKS (I would say an AK type, but they're already banned here) but I already have several. So my next best choice for a gun with wood stock likely to be banned by Obama is the M1A carbine. So that's what I'm (hopefully) getting. Service grade Inland from the CMP.
Also been stocking up on 7.62x25 since I suspect that would be toward the top of the list of ammo to ban.

hell if the ultralibs had their way they'd ban hurtful words and pointy sticks.
I need a Nagant and a .308 converted Enfield myself (.303 too hard to get these days)
