So I saw my very first IMAX movie on Saturday. I find it interesting that my random mall will give me really comforable sunglasses-style 3D glasses, and a giant IMAX will give me ones more uncomfortable than the ones you wear for the 3D shows at Disney World. I agree with your thoughts on Alice. It was eh. I thought Johnny was great, but honestly HBC walked away with the whole thing (IMHO). She was definitely the strong one there.

Then again, I really wasn't expecting anything from seeing this. I just saw it because it was Alice, and I love the animated version, so why not. But I just went to enjoy it and take it for what it was. I agree though, that it wasn't a great movie. Sort of fun, but not really GOOD. JJ agreed.

Then again again, Burton's best days are behind him. I think we can all agree on that.

Oh most definitely, she stole that movie. HBC is so hit or miss with me. She's either brilliant (this) or I can't stand her (Sweeney Todd). I suppose she was unremarkable in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Completely agree, Burton has passed his prime.

So I was watching RotK and the behind the scenes stuff, and I want to go horseback riding like, right now. I do not do it enough.

Have you read Percy Jackson yet?
