Yeah, I'm a Star Trek fan. This is sad. But true. And I'm embracing it. I'm not ready to embrace the fact that I find Spock sexy, but I'm going to blame that one on Zachary Quinto. Yeah.

My thoughts on the movie:

I loved spock as well his character is very fasinating and endearing. I love screwed up people :P I also adored him and Uhura it's nice to see him get the girl, and it was very clear they were very much in love, it was a nice surprise that she didn't end up wanting Kirk.

And i liked Kirk so much more than i thought i would, shatner always annoyed me and i didn't know if i could get passed that but he was awesome.

I so hope they make a sequel as well. I imagine they will.

I have been a trekkie a long time, never for the original series though i hated it so this was nice surprise :)

Totally agree. Spock is such an intriguing character, one I never expected to really like, but am totally into. And yeah, I was totally expecting her to end up with Kirk, and I think the publicity people were trying to lead you in the wrong direction with all the posters of the two of them and all that. I think Spock and Uhura really work well together. And I LOVE that it was already an established relationship, it wasn't one of those "caught up in the heat of the moment, we're about to die, and also the hero has to get the girl by the end of the movie" hookups ( ... )
