I hope your situation at work is better and that you get the promotion you deserve. I so hope that it's better than what I experienced with my yo-yo bosses.. but if not, you must be marketable with your new degree, maybe use that to your advantage at another place if push comes to shove (hoping not!).
congrats on the master's program! i didn't go to our graduation either. i did an online program and i guess i kind of felt like it wasn't worth it to fly to michigan just to walk. but it did feel like i needed something to signify the end--especially after i watched my brother graduate with his MBA a few weeks ago....the vacations sound great! i'm sure that you had a blast! ...promotions are good sounds like your boss is a jerk. but he's probably tied from up above--that's what i hear is always the big thing that stands in the way. good luck with it.
