Skiing!!!!!!!

*heavy sigh* Ski seasons starts today. Both Loveland and Arapahoe Basin open their lifts at 8:30 this morning. And me? I'm at work. *more sighing* Yesterday I joked with a co-worker that I was calling in sick to go skiing. But obviously I didn't do that. Even if I hadn't made the joke no one would have believed I was sick and not on the slopes.

I have a huge rant that I will spare you, but yes. Doing other's people's stuff and then being talked down about not being All YAYY TEAM! Fuck that.

The nice thing is I was straight up with my boss about the problems and then she asked specifically who was causing me problems. And we had good resolution. I just got out of a meeting with management and dept. heads and some of the stuff from our meeting was brought up in there to reiterate to them that I'm not here to do their work. *g* I was very pleased.

Vacation! With B! Even if only a long weekend. I am so thrilled.
