So earlier today sangpassione was commenting in her LJ about how she'll read anything with Spike. When asked if she'd read Spike/onion blossom she said:

If it was Spike/onion blossom in a sexual context, I'd have to read it for sheer WTFness. A genfic? Yeah, why not. LOL. Like I said, any Spikefic. (full discussion hereNever one to turn down a challenge ( ( Read more... )

Ah, you are the queen of Spike/inanimate object. It could just be silly, but it's not; Spike is a vampire of many desires.

*puts on my crown* I try. I was thinking about this last night after posting. I've done little bits of this in other writing, using language that invokes sexual images to describe moments that aren't necessarily sexual (but are in some way personal or intimate). I think it can be wonderfully vivid when used carefully.

This, of course, is just a way to have fun and be silly and practice my skills for more serious writing.

I'm going to send this to my mom later. She loved my Spike/clipboard. I don't know why, but I just really like writing inanimate object stuff. I have to be inspired, but once I am it just flows.
