It wasn't Monik's choice to leave you and stop being friends. It was yours. Same as it wasn't my choice to stop being friends with you. I'm sure she'd love to be welcomed back into your circle of friends, in fact I talked to her last week about it, and I know she would like to be.

I might find you aggravating at times, but I don't just ditch people over one silly quarrel. Neither does she. Open the lines of communication with others and you'd be surprised how quickly things work out.
