Of course, The Lord of the Rings. XD I have Neil Gaiman's American Gods, which I hear is pretty good. I need to read it. I was also looking at Neverwhere, I haven't read what it's about yet but the title just stands out and sounds as if it would be good. I like your choice of Deathly Hallows, too.
Wow, if I had to choose... I'd cry. Seriously. There are the ten books of The Vampire Chronicles, all seven of Harry Potter, The Last-Herald Mage, plus my manga ... ye gods. Hard choice. I'd probably choose Order of the Phoenix and Deathly Hallows as one of them, because of Dumbledore and Snape and the fact that three of my most hated characters die. And then The Vampire Armand. But that could change easily. I don't like this question! Lol.
Well duh. XD American Gods is really good, and a lot of people hail it as his best piece of work ever. I personally like Neverwhere and Anansi Boys better, I thought American Gods was, well, very long (which is funny considering I've read the entirety of LotR twice, but there you go), but very good, as is all his work. The man can do no wrong. But yeah, I highly recommend Neverwhere. And Anansi Boys :)
Hah, yeah. I agree with mister Neil Gaiman in that "Picking five favorite books is like picking the five body parts you’d most like not to lose."
