Inlaw Cancer stage 3 update

He had to only have 1/3 tounge removed vs 1/2
Graft fm leg
Found 2 cels in lymph nodes on neck removed. So hopefully they caught it all . Stays stage 3...

Still has 12 rounds of Radiation ahead. Hope he does great. Wish we could have found hubs at 3 or less. His 5 year survival is 13% ish *sighs* I hope he beats the odds.

I hope all goes well now for your inlaw. My mother had to have a tumour removed from her tongue (twice). She waited long enough for it to move to her lymph nodes, which they also removed. Then the hospital and my brother neglected her to death. (Mom and bro were in TN, I'm in CA.)

Yeah they removed neck lymphatic as well. And im so sorry to hear that happened sis.

Thanks. It still haunts me. My youngest brother conspired to get me and my other two siblings cut from the will by taking advantage of my mother's early dementia, then allowed the hospital to send Mom back to her remote mountain home instead of a rehab facility where she could have been watched and better cared for.

Our lawyer was just interested in how much justice we could afford. She did very little for the thousands we could barely afford to pay.
