The problem with Keira

I first started getting hints of Keira Knightley hate a few months ago when I immersed myself in the P & P fandom. It seemed to be coming from most of the fans of the 1995 BBC miniseries so I didn't take it as a general indication of audiences at large.

Well, I don't hate KK. I don't think all the fuss around her is always justified, esp about how she should have replaced Natalie for Padmé, but apart from that, I like her. She really is beautiful and talented but she should eat a little bit more. ;)

I don't agree that she should have replaced Natalie either. Short of casting both of them in identical roles, in identical movies, against identical actors, directed by identical directors.... you get the picture - it would be extremely hard to say who would give a better performance.

As for her thin frame, I really don't think she can help it. As a general rule, thin girls aren't any happier with their thin bodies than fat girls are happy with their fat bodies. And she's always been like that - from "Bend it like Beckham" to date.
