Change of perspective

Real Life has been intruding, as it must. I now have a second job as a Home Helper sort-- not a nurse, but visiting help for shut- ins. I now know how to cook dippy eggs (I'll explain that if I have to!) and I am slowly learning to understand people who can no longer speak plainly. Wow, that does sound challenging. I always wonder how people manage to learn how to understand those who can not speak plainly. And gah, those shifts! That sounds terrible.

I'm so sorry to hear about your sister's apartment being in the fire's path. Yes, Just Stuff can definitely be missed and mourned over and, when it's business-Stuff, very very bad to lose. I'll definitely be praying!

Oh no, I hope your sister and her family will be alright. I admit I haven't paid much attention to the Colorado wild fire until someone in my lab mentioned it. D:

And do try to get some rest, even with the hectic work schedules.

Thank you both! I've had no further word, but the news hasn't mentioned schools or the convent (or monastery, not sure which) that I remember in the area, or apartment complexes-- just houses. I 'm hoping.

I hope they can keep the fire away, of course; there are a lot of people in those buildings. And in the Stuff is a box set of Princess Tutu, and at a friend's is her complete Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes dvd's, and a lot of other neat things. Replaceable, yes, but....

Must sleep again. Factory tonight.

That sounds both emotionally and physically draining which is a terrible combination! I hope the Stuff (I would be devastated to lose my rather embarrassing amount of books....)makes it too!

I know the feeling... there's a lot of her books I haven't read or even looked at... and of course all the tapes and DVD's, including scads of anime (well, at least compared to my collection.) She's the one who put me on to Princess Tutu.
