In case anyone cares, I translated that blog entry of Tora's. Good thing he's a man of few words xD;;; (though he could do to write those few words a bit better… one sentence, short as it was, didn't have particles. Or any indication of tense o.O;; I had nfi wtf he really meant xD WTF TORA

Tora is so predictable, does he think we haven't noticed he only posts at the same time of year? It's not like we're not going to forget him if he doesn't, LOL xD;;;;

No, I don't mind at all ^^ …I learned at uni, I have (or will have, when I graduate) a minor in japanese, for doing it for a year and a half xD;;; (also, most of my friends are majoring in japanese, so~ xD) The textbook we used was called "Genki" (げんき) and we used the beginners and intermediate ones in that time… but there's plenty of resources online too. One I found that was pretty good for (basic) grammar was this one, if that helps

Aaah, I see, thank you! I'm starting uni in a few weeks, but in England we can't do language modules with our degrees until our second year. So I can't have proper lessons until next year. I mean, I used a site to learn to read/write, and I know basic, simple stuff like greetings and talking about family/pets, etc. Thanks for those! I'll have a look for those textbooks =3
