I'm not close with any of my cousins. The ones that are my age do not see me as a friend, just a cousin, and the younger ones see me as an adult in charge. I'm glad you could spend some good time with your cousin before she goes to Cambodia.
I also hope her long distance relationship can work out. I think if both people really put in the effort, it can. Time will tell.
Sorry babe, been über busy the last few days since training started at work. Haven't got time to settle down yet. Still fuzzy from the whole thing. Weekend was burnt with some gatherings, only managed these last few minutes before bedtime to catch up here. *takes a deep breath*
I'm glad I have one or two cousins who I can still talk to. But things are gradually growing apart with us all in different places :(

No need to feel sorry. I know how crazy starting a new job can be. CraZy!
Growing apart from cousins(other family) seems a bit worse than growing apart from a friend, since they are connected by blood. But, it seems to happen more and more. My cousins seem more like strangers with a common ancestor and nothing else.
But I do believe it take a whole deal of effort to put that into reality.
Yes. Hopes and dreams are very different than reality!!
It's never a better time than today to reply this message, Ben.

Only people who despise their siblings can understand how I feel.. If the other party refuses to make peace, it's difficult to achieve harmony.
Thanks for the encouragement, Lenz. Gosh, I am feeling the heat.. no time to do anything much now. Even reading the comments took me so long.. and right before hitting the sack.
