Shower Soap

Jul 11, 2011 12:09

Made the first batch of shower soap for my sister's baby shower. It's mango, papaya, pear, and cucumber. Nice and sweet, appropriately for a kid themed event. I need to make a second batch because because I need enough slices for 15 people.

There's the pic, it's coloured with what is called a column swirl.

It is so pretty. I would cover it in something so it wouldn't melt and display as an art piece.

Oh thank you. It would make a lovely piece of air freshener. XD

I'm going to flip it over (the mold is a bundt pan) and pour a drizzle of thin soap on top of it all. I'll post another picture when it's been unmolded.

Thank you! I'll post pictures of it unmolded. May or may not cut it ahead of time.

That has got to be the coolest thing of soap ever. I bet it smells awesome too.

Thank you. I've seen cooler soap but it's one of the coolest I've made. I like the smell, it's sweet, and fruity. A nice change from the florals I usually work with.
