After some time away, Princess Mercury finds herself lost, yet at the same time, in an all too familiar setting.

She looks around, pauses, then sighs. She knows this place only too well.

"Here we go again..."

"It's been awhile," comes a teasing voice, which should be extremely familiar since Princess Mercury hears it every time she talks. Say hello to alternate #2837829379232. Behind the amusement is some irritation at yet again finding herself here, unintentionally.

Despite the many alternates, the many doubles, the Princess always can just tell who her twin is. "Long time no see, twin," she greets in return, "I trust you're well?"

"If I weren't in the nexus, I'd be perfect," Mercury returns, but she seems to be taking it in-stride nonetheless. There's a hint of her usual sly smile.

"At least you still have your health!"

Kunzite is not amused. But he rarely is, these days; it's as if the best he can do, now, is that cynicism. He offers Mercury a cursory greeting, lips quirking up in that wry half-smirk.

"Mercury. A pleasure."

Mercury resists the urge to roll her eyes. A Kunzite. How droll. "Kunzite," she greets with the slightest smirk, "You've all the charm of an ice wall, as always."

[earthvictorious]

"Should I accept that as a high compliment, from the senshi of ice?" he returns. An eyebrow quirks upward.

"An ice wall can be beautiful," he adds. And exquisite when it finally melts, he does not say.

"Take it as you like," she replies with the slightest inclination of her head. And a small smile.

[mizuno_hime]

"Another me?" Mercury asks. She's familiar enough with the Nexus to be aware of them, but she hasn't met them. She stares long and hard, but prompted by curiosity above all, tracing the similarities between them. It's uncanny.

"So it seems!" Mercury replies with a smile, "It's not that surprising after a while." Someone's been dressing-room hopping too much.

[mizuno_hime]

It raises at least a thousand questions, but for now, Mercury decides to stay quiet and see things for herself a little.

"I'm pleased to meet you," she offers politely. "I wondered if I would be able to meet someone like you some day."

"Likewise," she offers back, with a light curtsy, "And like me? How do you mean?"
