Keeping the Pace

It's been a year since Kouhino Hibiki last paid the nexus a visit - or the other way around. This time, it starts out the same way it usually does, with Hibiki in the studio. Her hair is a little longer, but aside from that, she looks the same. Someone more astute may notice the silver, black, and purple bracelet around her wrist

Aino Minako, in fact, happened to be in the room. Maybe she'd been recording in the studio. And was pretty quiet at closing doors. She dipped her head in a polite greeting to Hibiki.

"It's good to see you again."

Hibiki smiled, turning and bowing to the fellow idol. "Good to see you! How have you been?"

"I've been doing well. Your sound has gotten even better." It was the sort of smalltalk any two people in the business might say to each other, but she meant it.

Hibiki can't hold back her smile, her flattered blush. "Thanks," she replied, "Really... Hearing that from you means a lot."

The peppy tune suited Usagi perfectly. She bobbed her head in time to the music and found herself all but dancing - which caused a quick look around to see if anyone had noticed once she finally realized she was making a bit of a scene of herself.

When the performer happened to actually come out, she forget that restraint and rushed right up to Hibiki. "You sounded so great! Are you a new idol here?"

Hibiki blinked, then smiled. "New to the building, yes," she replied, "But I've been in the business for about a year."

"That's really great! Ah, but you don't even look older than me, really! It must be like Minako-chan!"

[echoing_queen]

"Minako-san is your friend?" Hibiki is surprised; despite being a senshi, the only one whose identity she knew was MInako's.
