A world without tragedy?

In a certain way, she supposes it was bond to happen. Among all the infinite worlds, it shouldn't be that hard to imagine the possibility, as crazy as it may sound. Still she never really expected it, or even dreamed with it. Now she's even wondering how has this world managed to not collapse on itself, and God knows she's trying to not wonder just ( Read more... )

It has to be a dream - rather, a nightmare. There's no way the natural course of the nexus would bring this many alternates of one person together, when it's not even a simulation.

Ami holds back, taking the few moments before any of them see her to decide what to do. She watches them with a tense posture and narrowed eyes.

The worst part, if there is really a worst part in all this, is that one would think that looking the same as the others she would be able to sneak around without being noticed. Unfortunately, those things, as she refuses to believe they are truly people of any kind, seem to know that she's not from there. It makes it harder to get around without being noticed and ended being chased.

Because these Usagis also seem to have a tendency to run around. Just as Ami will soon notice, when one of the Usagis turns around and spots her, a bright and big smile forming on her lips; "Ami-chan!!!" She screams while waving, moments before she starts running towards Ami... Seconds later all the Usagis in the area are running towards Ami too calling her name. "Oh my God! It is an Ami-chan!!! Ami-chan!! Here!!"

Running is always a good option.

She doesn't run, but she folds her arms across her chest and gives the Usagis a cold look. "Don't call me by that."

It's been a long time since anyone has.

The reply makes the Usagis stop a few feet away from her effectively, which is good. But as they stop and wait, more and more Usagis seem to appear from the inside of buildings and corners joining them. One of them speaks; "But you are Ami-chan! How should I call you if I don't call you Ami-chan?"

"It has been so long since an Ami-chan visited us!"

"Don't be so cold, we are friends, right Ami-chan?"

Apparently they don't seem to worry much about if she likes to be called that or not... And they soon start to close the distance between her and them, with bright cheerful smiles, some of them even extending their arms; "Let me hug you Ami-chan, it has been so long!" At least they approach slowly instead of running.

"Princess?" His smile is just sprouting when he notices another one. Then another. Then there's another until he realizes just how many are around.

What?

"Princess?!"

They aren't princesses, at least they don't look like that, just normal girls if one excludes the fact that there are dozens of them, probably even more. Still, they seem to have gotten visits from the nexus often enough to have gotten used to most of the people from other worlds, even those who aren't Usagi. So when Endymion calls for the princess... Dozens of Usagis turn around to look at him with a bright smile; "Endymion!" "Mamo-chan!!"

And just as most Usagis would do, they run to him happily. Thought seeing so many of them running towards him must be even more traumatizing than seeing so many together.

No matter if he decides to run or stay, and risk to see what will happen when they catch him, another Usagi will come from behind him and grab him, pulling him to run away in a certain direction. This Usagi is a bit different than the others, at least in her clothes, as she's in Sailor Moon's form. "Over here!! You don't want to see what will happen if they catch you!"

Not traumatizing to him, quite. The mass of Usagis doesn't seem quite real, so it's easy to imagine it as a wonderful fantasy - a multitude of the beautiful girl he loves all smiling at him.

Until Usagi grabs him.

"hey- What's going on here?!"

Maybe he would have preferred to stay and let them catch him, start tugging at him from everywhere until he breaks or something. This Usagi is quite sure that's what would happen, it almost happened to her after all.

"This world is crazy! It's full of Usagis!" As if he hadn't noticed that; "And they love to receive visits apparently. Love them so much they may break us in pieces if they get us and they don't decide which one of them gets to show us around or whatever!"
