Serenity looks over at a girl who could be her mirror. Key words: could be. She could tell the difference. And while she is shocked, she does not show it now.

"The Kingdoms of Earth and Moon are in mourning. A great warrior and protector was lost in recent times," she speaks softly, adjusting the shawl over her arms.

Her eyes are pained as she looks to her mirror image.

"Zoisite."

Somehow, Zoisite stands before the princess even as she mourns him. He stays standing, and presents her only with a bow suitable for her station.

Serenity sees him and is in shock. Well not completely in shock, but it definitely stuns her. She takes hesitant steps toward him.

"I knew... I knew the rumors were true," she speaks breathlessly, "I knew that you were alive. Everyone said I was silly to believe the rumors."

He can't think what she could possibly mean. Zoisite gives the princess a mild, questioning look.

"You have heard something?" he prompts her.

"You were said to have died in the first battle against Beryl's forces. But... Rumors that we've heard - that I've heard - said that you survived," she told him.

Surely, wasn't this him? Or was this a trick of Beryl when she was away from the others. Serenity prayed that his was truly was Zoisite and not some illusion to capture her and force Endymion's hand.
