"Helios?" She arrives just in time to hear the name, and Mercury gives Hotaru a quick glance. That name...

"Hotaru-chan, do you know someone called Helios?" she asks carefully.

"M-Mercury-san?" That wasn't the voice, nor the person she was expecting. Swallowing, Hotaru rubs her cheeks, before looking up at her mentor.

"... He... I see him in my dreams sometimes... and when I play my violin... Why?"

She should have expected that. After all, it's late at night. A visitor in dreams wouldn't normally have such an effect on someone, would they? Perhaps if the person in question is a child.

"Tell me about him," Mercury says. She leans against the wall near the doorway.

She nods, carefully moving her violin back into it's case. "He's... older than me but younger than Mercury-san. Sometimes he's a boy, but usually he's.... he calls himself Pegasus, but Pegasus only had wings, and Helios has a unicorns horn as well. He's a protector, a priest of a kingdom that was long ago..."

Hotaru drifts off into silence, as if in a daydream before shaking her head as if to clear it. Biting her lip, she finally continues, voice quiet as she looks at her instrument, "He says something bad is here."

He appears out of thin air in the form of a white pegasus, and approaches Hotaru carefully, warily.

"I am here," he tells her. He recalls her, he thinks; a girl who had helped the sailor senshi and the maiden to free him. Why does she call for him herself?

She sits up, familiar with the form. Reassurance is near instant as she smiles faintly.

"Helios-kun. You came."

How does she know him so well? But his mission and all his hopes are pinned on trust; he cannot risk that by breaking her trust by seeming to have forgotten her. Thus, he cannot ask how they are meant to be connected.

"I have come at your call," he says. That much, he himself had felt. "Please tell me what troubles you."

Placing her violin back in it's case, Hotaru stands, climbing back into her bed. He's here now, her bed is safe because Helios will make sure she doesn't have a bad dream.

"I had a dream again." She pauses, biting her lip, remembering the loud shrieks, the way the shadows seemed to grip her. "... She was there. The bad Queen. The one in the mirror."

"Helios?" another small girl repeats who has seemingly appeared out of nowhere. (She doesn't seem to notice it herself at the very least.) Kousagi tilts her head sideways slightly, seeming to ponder that name.

"Hmm, that name seems familiar somehow.. Who is he, Hotaru-chan?" At least her head seems to be clear enough to notice the other girl.

Hotaru blinks, looking at the other girl. "Tsukino-san? Whe... did the nexus bring you?" After all, Hotaru knows what children belong in the orphanage, and Kousagi isn't one of them.

Biting her lip, Hotaru frowns before answering with a simple, "A friend." A small seed of jealous sparks, at the mention of familiarity, before flaring and dying. "You know him too?"

Kousagi just nods happily in response, as if she doesn't mind at all that a random force can pick her up at any moment and drop her into a random world. "It seems that way, doesn't it? I feel like I understand this nexus thing a bit more too since I've talked about it with our school's nurse!" It should be mentioned this may be because the school's nurse is secretly the soldier of time, even though she doesn't know.

"Not personally." She puts a finger to her cheek, thinking about it. "I think my big sister mentioned him a few times. But I have no idea what kind of guy it is!" Then she smiles. "But if he's Hotaru-chan's friend, he must be a good person!"

"Really? I don't talk to my school nurse about it, because... I was told not to be a special person, but she's very nice. She lets me sit in her office when I don't wanna go outside, and she makes very nice tea. I like her." And funnily enough, she just happens to be the same person as Kousagi's nurse. Strange, isn't it.

"Oh?" She frowns a little. Big sister. Kousagi's pretty, so her sister must be pretty too. And older. Helios would probably rather talk to her than Hotaru, Hotaru who's little and strange, too quiet and- No. She shakes her head, clearing her mind of those thoughts. "He is. He's very nice and he looks out for me, helps me when there's... bad stuff."

There's a figure in the shadows, but it's not Helios. The blue and gold fuku should be a clue.

Uranus listens for a moment, and at the mention of that name, she steps forward. "Hotaru," she greets in a low tone.

"Uranus-san!" The words, while loud, are not quite a shout, not yet. Still, Hotaru realises that she should be quiet rather than loud, biting her lip to hush herself.

She stands, placing her instrument on her bed before hurrying to Uranus. Twisting her hands together, she looks up at the woman. "I... I've missed you Uranus-san. Have you been busy?" She must have been right? That's why she couldn't come, of course, she didn't forget, no way.

Uranus looks down at the little girl silently, with something of a stony expression. Finally, she kneels down to be eye-level. "I've been away," she tells Hotaru. "Very far away. It's been a while, hasn't it?"

The stony expression she's given upsets her slightly, but Hotaru tries to mask it. It isn't all about her after all, Uranus has a whole world to protect and help. "Yes," is all she says, hands behind her back. She opens her mouth as if to continue before shutting it, not sure what to say.
