"Eh? Mamo-chan?!" Usagi's face lights up before she can stop it, before she can correct herself and remind herself that he may hate her, too - and that he's certainly not her world's Mamoru anyway. It'd be far too much to hope for that, even for her.

The tears that want to come out hide behind a cheerful smile, or one she hopes is cheerful anyway; they always do. It's cheerful and apologetic at once.

"Ah- I..." Oh, crap, and she didn't notice she was in his bedroom, either.

"I'm really sorry! I just sort of... ended up coming here..."

"Heyyyyy!" It comes right on cue. "Take it back, or you'll never find a girl who wants to marry such a mean guy!"

She smirks, as much as Usagi can smirk, a little airy expression. "And you can come to my wedding and watch me in a beautiful white dress and cry because you never found anyone."

Somewhere, there's a swipe of jealousy at the thought of that, but it's buried almost immediately, not even noticed, it was so little (honestly, just a petty thought), and he smirks instead.

"I think I'll have an easier time than someone who's a little too round for her cosplay," He teases, grinning still.

"I'm not too round! Look!!" Usagi makes a show of turning around, and pulling on her pants leg near the ankle as soon as she's facing Mamoru again. She straightens back up. "Lots of room!"

"Maybe you should try on the costume then," he smirks. "See how much you like like the real thing? That's the point of cosplay, right?"

Because he's totally not looking at the body of a fourteen year old like that. Ever.

"I had to get the hair down first." Usagi tugs on one of her odango-tails and pulls it up to twirl a finger around the tiny curls at the ends. It looks a bit like a finger trap.

He has to admit, however she's done it, she's replicated the hair from her transformed form rather nicely. As to why she's done it... Well, it'll simply make his job easier. After all, blonde hair isn't common in Japan.

Huh? Oh. Right. Pretending to be Sailor Moon. Yes. Pretending. 'Pretending'.

"Mama thought it was kind of cute." This is, actually, sadly believable of Usagi's mother.
