Daydreaming sometimes ends badly...

There was an open book on her desk and a pen in her hand, and supposedly, she was studying the lessons she'd been given. There was also, however, a window before her. Serenity's eyes were no where the small printed text on the page, but rather... she gazed quietly up at the sight of the Earth hanging full in the sky. If only wishing could always make it so. Endymion is standing right behind Serenity. He steps up quietly behind her, thoroughly intending to startle her.

"Working hard on your lessons?" That voice is coming from way too close.

Serenity certainly jumps at the sound of his voice, for she hasn't been expecting him, and she hasn't heard him enter either. She turns quickly in her seat, eyes wide and startled- and then they find the prince... For a moment, she's torn between her excitement that he's here, and a pout at his scaring her... The pout wins.

"Endymion!" Her lips twist up into a pout, even as she bats playfully at his chest and jumps up from her seat to hug him.

He grins. Somehow he has a feeling he can erase that pout. It feels to good to see her, really her, again; it's been awhile thanks to all the obvious things keeping them apart.

Endymion fends off the blows first, which makes him laugh because it's so easy; as if they'd ever really hurt each other. "Peace, peace!" he protests - and tries to pull the princess into his arms.

There's honestly not much resistant, none even, because as much as she wants to pout at him- she wants to be in his arms even more. She's missed him, darnit! So instead, she folds willingly into his grasp, pushing up on her tiptoes to kiss him. Then, she directs her pout at him once again, more teasing this time.

"You surprised me!"

Serenity is quite right: Mercury is going to kill her. Her lips are pursed together, making her the very picture of the beleaguered martinet.

"Princess, you promised to study hard today," she says. She suppresses a sigh, because this is a very old argument.

Eeps! Without a thought, Serenity throws herself forward, crossing her arms and leaning down to cover the text book (hopefully) before her friend can see.

"Eh heh! Mercury! I am!" Really!

Really, princess. Your mother wouldn't have trusted Mercury with your education if she were that easily fooled. She glances down at the desk. She can't quite see the papers.

"May I see your progress?" she asks smoothly.

Shoot! The princess bites her lip, not moving because... she didn't mean to, really! Come on! Maybe... Mercury will be merciful? There's another nervous laugh. Or maybe she can get out of it?

"I'm not ready! If I show you now... I won't finish it!"

Eep! Kunzite?! Serenity moves quickly to hide her doodlings, throwing her body forward and her arms down to cover the text book, even as she laughs nervously.

"The nexus?" Sorry, Kunzite, Serenity hasn't had too many experiences with the Nexus yet, although... "Then, you're not Kunzite?" Not her Endymion's Kunzite at least? She remember Endymion mentioning something about meeting others...

Rei quirks her mouth into a somewhat severe expression she tries to hold steady, but it threatens to turn into a smile at the girl in front of her.

"Doodling won't get your work done," she reminds.

"Mars!" There's a startled, and somewhat frantic, look on the princess' face as she makes a surprised sound and quickly slams her book shut, dropping the pen and flushing a bit.

"I- I was just- practicing!"

"Practicing?" Not how it looked from the other side of the room, but to be fair... that had been from the other side of the room. Rei comes a bit closer, and then, as soon as Serenity turns around, she sees it, the crescent moon. Her eyes widen a bit.

"Princess?"

You called? Serenity looks a bit confused at the surprised look on Mars' face, but then... something's- not quite right. Her guardian is dressed oddly, and not in her normal gowns... The outfit she's wearing seems almost- humble. Almost like some of the outfits hiding in Serenity's own closet... Wait...

"Mars! You're sneaking down to earth!

"Mmm," Serenity looks up, surprised to find someone in her room- and then quickly closes her book when she sees the queen from before! Her eyes go wide and she laughs, perhaps a bit nervously, before standing.

Ffffft, as if Serenity could be convinced to study something so important when she can see Earth. No, no, she's just a bit embarrassed at being caught doodling in her text... and if Mercury sees... Well, this isn't Mercury, and she didn't see, so the princess relaxes, instead standing and offering a warm smile to the foreign monarch, even as she glances back at the Earth once more.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?"
