Oh Starry Night~

The farmgirl Usagi, you know the more practical of the Usagis, was walking back to her farm on a snowy night, but it seems her trip has taken her through the Nexus instead. Not that she seems to mind, or she hasn't noticed her change in locale. She's smiling big and giggling like a school girl on Valentine's  Day

Geez.

"Here," says a voice. "Let me carry those." She'll totally drop them all and make a mess if he doesn't. Endymion's met Usagis.

"You don't want it all to spill all over," he says.

"Oh it's okay, I think I can...woah!" She stumbles a little, but rights herself before anything to drastic happens. "Ahaha, maybe you're right."

Then she looks up, and a bright red blush comes across her face. "Oh! Hello! T-thank you!"

Endymion shoots out a hand to steady Usagi. Once she has her balance, he reaches for the containers.

"Where are you going with these?" He sounds just the slightest bit put out, stuck doing a favor before she trips and falls, but he evidently doesn't mind too much or he wouldn't have offered... right?

"To the church of the Harvest Goddess. All the singles are meeting there tonight for dinner. I have the most chickens, so I made the soup." She laughs nervously. "I tried to do my best, I only just now figured out how to make it."

Jupiter doesn't seem too bothered by the cold and snow, even in her fuku. She seems far more troubled by catching sight of the princess. She can tell herself, easily, that there's no need to confront a girl who's definitely an alternate (she's never seen this farmland; it's certainly not Tokyo). But it's much harder to figure out why that makes her glad right now.

Even so, she's not particularly friendly as she looks over the tupperware containers.

"Did you cook something?"

She stops short and blinks at the voice calling out to her. "Oh! Yeah! It's just some egg drop soup though. All the singles in town are meeting up at the church for the Starry Night dinner."

Starry Night, huh? She's never heard of a festival like that at all. Jupiter shakes her head.

"What kind of festival is it?" For that matter, why is she bothering asking and why does she almost think it'd be worthwhile to join some party with humans?

It all started with that--

That light. Like Venus. No way!

There may be stars getting in Usagi's eyes. "Oh, it's a wonderful festival!" Usagi's hips sway a little and she hums. "Family and lovers gather for dinner, then go watch the stars till they fall asleep."
