There's a fairly big piano. Around the piano is a room that's clearly designed for playing piano. Various related posters hang on the walls and many books with piano music and just random music sheets are found across the room, even on the piano itself. And next to the piano is a short girl playing it. There's also an older woman, Miai's teacher. "

He has not thought of those days, more centuries behind him than he cares to contemplate, in quite some time. And how many years has it been since he's heard a sound so refreshing?
"Your music is very soothing," Zoisite says in a quiet voice. Now where did he come from suddenly?

Miai looks up in surprise, she hadn't expected someone else to show up here except for maybe her teacher returning. Her music comes to an abrupt halt as she studies the person standing there. "Kunzite-san..?" She says, frowning just slightly. Why would Kunzite come here?
... And what did he do to his hair?

He manages something that's close to a smile. "Please, continue to play your music. I do not wish to interrupt you."

"Ah, you're one of Zoisite-sensei's alternates, right?" Miai smiles. Granted, Zoisite wasn't as much her mentor as Mercury was, but it still was a friendly face. And Miai likes friendly faces.
Then she turns to the piano again, still smiling and continues to play at the point where she left off before.

"I'm very sorry for intruding, but you have a remarkable musical ability. I couldn't help listening to more once I heard it."

"Mizuno-sensei!" She says, smiling widely. She'd recognize that voice anywhere. But as she actually takes a look at said Mizuno-sensei, Miai realises that this girl is much too young to be her mentor. So it was the Nexus? .. It was confusing and fun to see a younger version of that woman. Not to mention that this one does have blue hair!
"Ah, Miai-chan's sorry! You.. look a lot like someone Miai-chan knows!" She says, still smiling but a bit sheepishly.

Awkward. Awkward is a very good word. It's an awkward word, with sounds in it not usually found together. Mmhmm.

Not to mention Miai still seems to be big on the whole of-course-you-can-trust-random-alternates-of-people-who-are-friendly-in-your-world thing. Probably nothing is able to change that naive thinking. "In my world, you're my mentor!"

"Knock, knock." Jun leans against the door frame, rapping lightly on the wood. With a grin, she comes over to her friend, "Scotch over?"
If the music teacher comes back she can always pretend that she's here for a duet right? Though she doesn't really know any guitar and piano combinations...

Miai stops playing for a moment and looks over her shoulder, she recognizes that voice. She starts grinning. "Jun-chan!" She really hasn't expected that girl to turn up, but hey, who is Miai to complain about it?
They'll probably think up some super crazy plan that actually somehow works out in the end if Miai's teacher does come back soon.

"Whatcha playing?" she asks as she sits on one end of the bench. She glances at the music, managing to decipher some of it slowly. Reading sheet music, like Japanese is something that just doesn't come naturally to her. It takes focus.
Super crazy awesome plan that is.

Yeah, it might just involve blowing up some things!

"You're very talented," he compliments.

"Kunzite-san..?" She says, sounding a bit unsure. Was there something going on? Did they need her? But wouldn't they send Zoisite instead of Kunzite to fetch her then? "Is something.. going on at the palace?" Miai slightly tilts her head sideways, looking worried.

"I'm not from this world," he answers pleasantly with a small shake of his head. "So I'm not here to warn you of anything. I arrived because of the nexus."

"Nice to meet you, Kunzite-san. I'm Aisu Miai." See? There's even no third-person talking in there! Her mother would be so proud.

"Moonlight Sonata," she just settles on saying with a smile. Her fingers idly slide over some of the piano keys as she thinks about things.
"Say, are you.. Makoto-san?" Saying Jupiter would give away everything way too much, but at least this was safe. And it helped to get rid of her curiosity for now.

"Close enough! It's Beethoven." She could easily forgive the girl for that, if not just because the music is ancient by now. But considering how old this version of Makoto looks, Miai guesses she's from a long time ago as well.
