It's after school hours, and Ami's heading to cram school. She stops by her locker to change her shoes, and walks downstairs towards the main doors

Guess who just happened to be pulled into the same park just a little bit earlier? Usagi has been walking around in the park, wondering what part of the Nexus this was until she sees a familiar face. A good familiar face, that was.
Usagi lifts her hand in greeting, shouts "Ami-chan, hi!" and storms stomps runs towards this alternate version of one of her friends. Her own Ami obviously didn't always have blue hair, but what does a different haircolour mean anyway, right?
Ami is not having a good day. She just fell out of the... sky?... and now a girl she's sure she's never met is approaching her.
Sure is a strange hairstyle... almost like... that one girl in class who's always late. (Yes, Usagi, that's the first thing she ever noticed about you. Be ashamed.)
After a second to blink up at Usagi in absolute bewilderment, Ami manages to get to her feet.
"Excuse me," she says with what little dignity she can still muster. "Have we met before somewhere?"
Usagi stops as she hears that, like a car suddenly having to stop for a red traffic light, but she's right in front of Ami already anyway so it doesn't matter.
She looks slightly confused at Ami, but maybe it was just because this Ami was new to the Nexus and not used to people with black hair invading this place.
"Ah, I'm sorry! It's me, Usagi!" She flashes a big smile at Ami and fumbles a bit around with one of her ponytails. "It's the hair, isn't it?"
Eh?! So this really is Tsukino-san?! She looks a bit older, just a tiny bit. Maybe that's because of the hair color, too; Ami's not really up on hair enough to visualize it.
"Tsukino-san, did you change your hair?" Blink blink. "No, before that, where is this? I was coming down the stairs at school..."
Ami politely avoids staring (it helps when you're busy wondering where on Earth you are), but while the pink hair might be considered almost normal, that outfit is a bit... theatric. Some sort of cosplay maybe?
Whatever helps you feel more comfortable, Ami. But she's sure she doesn't know whoever this is, even if that's a wig. That hair's a lot like Tsukino-san's...
"I'm sorry," she apologizes after realizing she'd been close to staring after all. "Have we met before somewhere?" At least that means she doesn't know any of the bad parts?
She does look like Usagi, doesn't she? Only taller and more voluptuous and longer hair and...um. Well. Black Lady stares for a moment before speaking. Something about her - she's young. Too young.
Did Usagi always have such a good figure...? (Wait, why is she noticing that?!) This isn't the time for body image things. But that has to be her. They really do look so much alike, and she's already been thinking it's cosplay, so things make neat and tidy sense again.
"Tsukino-san? From Haruno-sensei's homeroom, right?"
Kaorinite's relatively sure she's never watched anyone fall out of midair before. Mark a new one off for the list of talents the nexus has.
"It's a bit disconcerting, isn't it?" Kaorinite asks, and there's a small smirk at the corner of her lips. She glances to the other. Mizuno Ami--Sailormercury. But this girl looks kind of young--younger than her world anyway.
The woman in the red labcoat goes back to an electronic clipboard she's working with. "It's the nexus; have you heard of it?"
Ami collects herself, and picks herself up. Wherever this is, this redhead is pretty cruel to just start in with that clipboard instead of even checking to see if the person who just fell is alright. That sort of bully...
Once she's standing and has brushed herself off more or less, Ami gives Kaolinite a somewhat penetrating stare.
Usagi gets up from her ungraceful heap on the ground, rubbing her hip woefully. "That hurt," she mumbled, sniffling.
...Ohlook. "Ami-chan!" cries the blonde, and she waves with much too much enthusiasm. She runs closer. "Ami-chan!" Pause. "Did you get brought here two? At least I'm not the only one anymore. Do you believe me now? I told you all that I wasn't making it up to get out of things, geez."
"Ehh? Tsukino-san, calm down! Are you alright?" Ami does recognize her - as a classmate, at least. They haven't spoken, but this weird situation makes it smarter to stick together for now.
"Ahh?! You're not my Ami-chan? Mooouuu." Usagi wibbles. See her wibbling? Wibble! "Oh well." She hangs her head a moment. "But, Ami-chan is Ami-chan! So, I'm glad to meet you! Call me Usagi. Tsukino-san is too weird."
"Ah, you were hurt after all! I'm very sorry!" Not that she's entirely sure just what she did, since she knows she isn't responsible for the nexus' less than ceremonious way of pulling them in.
Usagi? She really is friendly. It must be nice to be able to be like that and make friends easily.
You're being inundated with Usagis today, Ami. 'Cause here comes another one, waving at you from the other end of the park. "Ami-chan!" she calls out, trotting towards her. She's a teensy bit cautious, not wanting to get attacked, or punched in the face, but so far, this Ami seems pretty harmless.

Black Lady stares. Where...no, she knew where she was. She just didn't believe it. One minute she was on Nemesis, and the next...
The nexus, for certain. Still, this Ami looks very lost and scared, so she walks over with what she hopes is a reassuring smile.
"Aah! Are you ok?"
