Here comes the bride...

The setting? Magellan castle, in a grand ballroom that has been decorated in the senshi colors of Venus. Set up in one corner there seems to be some kind of mock throne set up, although it is currently unoccupied, with heaps of presents piled up around it in various states of unwrap. To another side of the room, there sits the remains of what was ( Read more... )

He has no idea how he's arrived here (except that, of course, it must be the nexus), but Zoisite finds himself in a place he knows better than some might think. Magellan Castle is not terra incognita for him.

Taking in the situation at once, his eyes widen in a perfect picture of masculine horror upon being confronted by such overwhelming femininity - although he is, of course, aware that many men in many worlds would give a great deal to be in his precise current position.

He makes a bow to Venus, choosing it as less impolite than to simply turn tail and hurry away.

"Sailorvenus," he greets her.

The arrival of Zoisite causes Venus to laugh, a full and happy sound, as she arches an eyebrow at him. Why yes, she's quite amused that he's here, and the look on his face only makes it that muck more amusing.

"Such formality, Zoisite. I see you couldn't keep away, though. Was Kunzite's idea of a bachelor party so horrible?

Bachelor- She? And he? Even for Zoisite, this tests that seemingly imperturbable calm. He stares at her openly, for several seconds before he composes himself.

"I am not the Zoisite you refer to," he says finally. If it's still stiff and formal, that may explain why. It may explain the quiet that seeps back over him as well, but that's typical for him anyway.

If one thing is for sure, it's that she doesn't like seeing him so quiet; it reminds her of before, when they had still been so distant. After a quick glance back at the girls, to be sure that the nexus hasn't taken them or her away, she directs a genuine smile to the shitennou and stands, motioning that they should move away from the girls and closer to the tables.

"Then I welcome you to Magellan."

It's another princess! The Princess of (another) Mercury finds herself in the grand ballroom of what she knows at once for Magellan Castle from the elegant touches of gold and the way the design is built to capture the light.

She beams a smile at the awake Venus immediately, but approaches quietly out of respect for those still slumbering, including a passing curious glance for her alternate.

"Venus, what occasion is this?" she asks, still smiling, once she's near enough for whispered conversation.

The appearance of another Mercury throws her a little- that the nexus would choose this time of all times to make its appearance. There's a quick glance at the others, to be sure they're still there and sleeping, then she turns back to Mercury with a smile.

"Today was the day Serenity chose to celebrate my upcoming wedding."

"Really?" The smile only widens. "Congratulations, Venus!" Mercury reaches out to clasp her friend's hand in hers.

"Some day, I also would like-" She cuts herself off at that, swept up in the moment, and her face turns a rather amusing shade of pink.

Her grin gets a little wider at that, and she gives her friend a knowing look as she squeezes her hand a little. After all, in this world, it won't be long before they are celebrating another wedding as well.

"Why thank you." Venus stands, motioning the other senshi to the tables before taking a seat herself. "This is not a traditional part of the celebrations... but the princess insisted."
