It's a bloody fight, but a short one. Venus takes special care not to ruin any of the city's infrastructure during their aerial combat. It doesn't entirely work, but the street (and office building, whoops) should only be closed for a day or two for repairs and power shouldn't be off in the neighborhood for more than a couple hours

Mizuno Ami finds herself unexpectedly on the roof of an office building. She takes in enough of the carnage at once to snap into her transformation pose, but just as she starts to speak the phrase, she realizes the full situation and lowers her arms.

A look to Venus.

"Why are you still here?" Hopefully it came out in the tone she'd meant it. Why would a sailor senshi be sitting around at the site of a battle once it's over?

Venus looks over at Mercury, surprised. "Oh, hey. It's been a while." She runs a hand through her hair, not paying any attention to whether she's getting the blood from her gloves in her hair. "I don't know. Just chilling. Basking, I guess."

"Basking?" Weirder and weirder.

"Daimon juices aren't what I'd choose to baste myself in, Venus," Ami remarks dryly. "And I'm not stupid enough to think you'd choose to stay around for nothing."

She doesn't quite go as far as so what's wrong?

"Having fun, Venus?"

Nephrite spots the pool of blood and grins, almost unpleasantly at the sight.

Venus looks over at Nephrite, a little on edge. He doesn't feel like the powerless Nephrite she knew before. "I was for a minute there, yeah."

"Is this your world?" he asks, looking around him and frowning. "And that, your enemy?"

"Um." Venus climbs to her feet, the backs of her hands wiping at some blood on her face before moving to her hips. "Yeah. It was, anyway. Now not so much."
