"Usagi!" Aino Minako, for some unknown reason (unless someone is smart enough to accuse the Nexus), happens to be lurking nearby. Or more like casually leaning against the wall of the building and hoping she's actually loud enough to get the other girl's attention.

This Minako's a bit older, maybe in her early twenties, but she has that same tolerant, bemused look that suggests she's quite used to Usagi's... enthusiasm.

"A--aaah! Minako-chan! Minako-chan!!"

Skidding (more like crashing) to a halt, Usagi quickly backtracks to where her good friend is standing. Of course, Usagi being Usagi, she doesn't notice any difference as she jumps up and down and tries to grab Minako's hands.

"It's summer break!! Come on, come on!!" Bounce, bounce, bounce. "The indoor pool at YMCA is open and we can go there and use the diving boards and the little kids won't bother us!!"

She probably has something else she's supposed to be doing - looking over proposals, touching up lyrics, trying to make Manager-san make less of a fool of himself. But for now while she's trapped here for a bit anyway, why not? Minako does notice the obvious age difference, but shrugs it off easily.

"Sure. I'll come." She flashes Usagi another of those smiles, which barely even fades as she suggests, "But I need a bathing suit first."

Like Usagi's going to say no to an excuse to go shopping.

No and shopping are two words that cannot possibly go together in Usagi's mind. She gives a little squeal.

"That's the spirit!" She claps her hands. "I got my bathing suit at the Gap with that gift certificate I got for Christmas, and right now they're having an awesome sale on bathing suits! I bet you'll find one there easy!"
