Thank you, Wendi. I've been meaning to say something and I haven't posted anything at all recently. I plan to do some letter writing this weekend. :D

It was so easy! One page, hand written and really, our emails take more effort most days. LOL

I LOVE BERT!!! I have complained REPEATEDLY to WZPL about the homophobic comments on their Smiley morning show. And for a while it gets slightly better, then just devolves again. So I quit listening to the radio entirely.

Then The Man told me we had a new station, and it's I-94! And the VERY first morning I listened to it, they had a panel of gay men on, answering straight people's questions about being gay. With the explanation that, we'll never all be comfortable with each other if we keep thinking we're all crazy different.

I. Love. The Bert Show.

My favorite segments are the ones where people try to find out why people broke up with them years ago because they can't get past it...or the ones where they get some very vague description/details about a guy or girl someone met at a party or bar or on an airplane and for whatever reason they lost the phone number or never got a chance to get it or whatever, but they want to find that magical connection person again and the Bert show turns over the descriptions to the listeners and then sees if they can track them down in Atlanta. Good fun, good fun.

They also have the Celebrity Incarceration Draft which cracks me up. They put money in a pool and everyone has their pick of who will get arrested next in the near future and if they guess the right one, they win the pool. Hilarious commentary. Also, Bert's Big Adventure is one of the best charities EVER.
