Well, it seems that it has been a rather long time since I posted anything on here. I just have felt no compulsion to. Perhaps I have been numb or just busy from trying to get myself back into the swing of things with college. This is semester seems to be going well so far. I am meeting more people finally. The Bible talks of the 'days' of creation, as indeterminate lengths of time, then it states that "...in the 'day' that God made heaven and earth."(i.e.; If I said, "In my 'day' gas was less than a dollar.", I would be speaking, not of a single day, but a period of time) The Bible also states that "One day to God is like a thousand years.", this also would not be taken literally as some mistakenly do, ancient man only needed to have the idea that an infinite being had a different concept of time than they did and most of them didn't have a need to know about numbers higher than thousands ( ... )

I have to agree with you. What you say does make sense and are things I have thought about more than once. There are actually places where the Bible is accurate to a "t" about scientific facts, if one knows how to interpret things. I heard once that scientists actually figured thsat the earth was behind in its rotations by about a day. There is a place in the Bible where it states that God stopped the sun for a day. Another area in the Bible states he turned the sun back a certain amount of degrees as a sign to someone. I'd have to relook up to exact details.
Thank you for your thoughtful response, though. I really do appreciate it.
