Is it really necessary to make that much mess? I've known of monsters before and yet they didn't leave bodies of the fallen lying around in seemingly random places.

It would be far scarier to see something organised than something mindless.

I do feel sorry that my element would cause such transformations under the orders of another.

Oh hardly, they're all young. Such things are not for children's eyes.

Age can mean very little if they are exposed to such a thing. Not that they should be exposed while they still have their innocent looks upon the world.
