<3 Glad to see the update. Well written, as always. Maybe Shou and Ryouma should try talking to Izumo and Kotetsu. More soon, hm?

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed! That's an interesting idea. We'll have to consider it. I'm not sure if Shou and Ryouma really know Izu and Ko. But yes, there must be much plotting and rumor mongering in a ninja villages.

We hope to have more written fairly soon.

Izumo and Kotetsu are around Ryouma's age, so it's possible that they might have been in the Academy together. If so, he was probably one of the kids who beat up on them. It's possible they know each other now--given that Izu and Ko know everyone in the village--but I don't imagine they associate much. Plus, unless Hayate mentioned poker night at Izumo and Kotetsu's and Yuugao being there, they probably don't know that Izu and Ko are Yuugao's best friends. (Given that Yuugao doesn't talk about her private life, uh, at all.) Ryouma would probably be wildly jealous to discover that Yuugao has other big brothers. XDD

Genta and Shou and Hayate's awesomeness is all due to nezumiko, but I'll take a bow for Ryouma and Daisuke. So glad you enjoyed this one! I always look forward to your reviews/reactions.

I think relations with Squad 3 will be strained for a bit on both sides--Genta already knows that Squad 6 did something, and even if Daisuke doesn't talk, there's gonna be some awkwardness. That's probably not something that's going to occur on-screen, though.

*grins* I know! And it's a totally cohesive whole, done this way. I love how it's all so... gorgeously constructed, the way this chapter is so solid. Actually this entire thing is solid. I don't know - I've been reading back novels, and I'm criticising how they do their POV switches, and yet... MoM is terribly cohesive and comprehensive all at once. It's amazing how you managed two tight POVs (from chapter one onwards, in general) without sounding schizophrenic or messy ( ... )

I also appear to be incoherent. I blame the fact that I just woke up. >.<

by 'reading back novels' I meant reading past novels, or books I'd read again.

IN other words, rereading.
