Veronica.

Look, you’re Celeste’s embarrassment, and Logan’s goddess, and Neptune’s queen, but Veronica-

Veronica’s your best friend.

Was.  Veronica was…

Oh my god.

Funny thing about losing your best friend.  (Except, you know, it’s so not funny.)

It rips you apart, eats you alive, then ( Read more... )

omg :| even though i really dislike lilly, that was absolutely heartbreaking..and when she was drunk and decided to tell logan...alsdfjasdlfkj. i think the continued use of 'fabulous' is quite redundant, but it might also be in character for lilly b/c somehow i doubt that she had a large vocabulary. :p and OMG you made me feel sorry for logan T_T...ew lilly/aaron is so gross X_X i still feel so bad for duncan that he had to watch that TAPE. SDLFKJF. also poor weevil ;_; also the combined resizing/bolding/italicizing of fonts kind of bothers me (i know it's trivial) but because it wouldn't really be presented in such a format for an actual printed book, and people who aren't familiar with internet 'language' sort of wouldn't derive the same kind of emotion we do from the customization of the text, i might change that a bit. and i think it was pretty amazing just even because you haven't really written something like this before. i could just imagine you squirming when you had to write aaron/lilly though :P

I don't really...like or *especially* hate Lilly of the shows, as I think we saw her most extreme sides. I do, however, think the only person she honestly, openly, absolutey cared about was Veronica--hence the angsty!angsty!angst ( ... )

LOL.... *I* won't do anything. RT and his writers always do it around this point in the season :p

Wow. I mean, I've only seen a couple of episodes of Veronica Mars, but this was like a sucker bunch to the belly. Lilly is just so fucked up, and you can see how much she relied on Veronica even if she didn't realize it, and how she doesn't really know what to do after Veronica died.

Really, really good.

*blush* I'm glad it turned out okay...

Oh. Oops. Which episodes of VM have you watched? S2 ones, right? So I'm not giving away S1? *facepalm* Because that wouldn't be especially good.

Lilly is extremely, uh, fucked up (had to force it there, even true :p), yes; she'll get both worse and better, though in the original premise she just got better. But when have my muses ever listened to me?

It's all back to you never realize what you have until it's gone, for Lilly--in the VM flashbacks, we tend to see Veronica half in Lilly's shadow; it could be (and has been) taken by some as "Lilly uses Veronica." I choose to believe they were true friends, but Lilly being Lilly...she can't fully realize what that means. Hence, uber-angst :(

*hugs* thanks for reading :)

Heehee, I watched about two or three episodes of season 2, so nothing was spoiled :D

Heehee, your muses run ramshod over you ;p

I like your interpretation of Lilly - it's really interesting. And, I'd like to point out, that you do an awesome job of conveying that :D

*pokes* You should watch more :D I'm glad I didn't spoil it for you, though :p

They do. They really do *facepalm* :p

Thanks :D I've seen both extreme and idealistic portrayals of her, so I wanted to mix it up a bit. I'm glad it worked out :)

*facepalm* I wrote you a very indepth review, and LJ ate it. And I'm tired and we're about to watch Narnia, which I think I need now, because Lilly was sad and her fabulousness wasn't enough and everything just sucks and Veronica's gone and ugh ugh ugh.

I want to hug Lilly, but she wouldn't let me.

Poor Logan.

Poor LILLY.

*hugs Erin*

T'was very well done. I'm assuming it only took place in a couple hours? If so, then the whole Fabulous threading through it was very well done - it made it desperate, pleading, empty. Poor Lilly...

Oh, I hate when LJ does that...*rolls eyes* Narnia's a very good movie, though, so I can understand you disappearing for that :) And, yeah, Lilly is incredibly angsty.

No, she...probably wouldn't :p

Poor Logan indeed, especially as more is revealed :(

*hugs back*

Thanks :D It took place within...oh, several hours? Let's see...*figuring this out* Veronica probably died around 4 (which, of course, isn't shown), Lilly probably found out around 5-6...got drunk by 7 and went to see Logan, hung around until...9:30(?) before screwing Aaron, and then woke up the next morning. I skimmed over the events of the next 1-2 weeks after that. So, yeah, it was a pretty contained time period.

Hello my dear friend! I'm sure you know who this is! :D Anyways... this story... the language! So unlike you!!! My, my but it's very interesting. I like it a lot. I enjoy the concept of Veronica dying instead of Lily. Very good. I can't wait to read the rest of it and I'm going to review your fic on the other website now! HOHOHO!!! I'll see you monday! :D
