So, Innocence is being published in the poetry.com anthology...supposedly because it's so *wonderful* that it made the semi-finals for this contest. Notice how they never say how many people they choose for the semi-finals -- probably only those whose poems meet the requirements :P ( Read more... )

ok, i'm sure your poem is great, but that site is a scam..they seriously tell EVERYONE that their poem goes into the semifinals (and consequently into a 'published' book. even some crap poem i wrote in 6th grade got in.) that's just so people buy the book so the website can profit from it..the point of this is..don't buy the book, unless you really want it. :P they only sell it to the people whose poems are in the book.

unless..did you win one of the $1000 prizes for it? because then it might actually be real. not sure though.

yay, get a paid lj account. it's fun..well, sort of fun, anyway. it's nice having a good layout.

How do you you pay? Paypal? Don't you have to pay for getting one of those accounts, then, on top of whatever you're paying for? If so, then I won't...

you can also pay by money order which would cost $4 at the post office...

or you could get paypal, which doesn't cost any money.. you could transfer money to paypal from a bank account or a credit card.
