I really like the twist of bringing Brakiss back, and of having him be twisted and bitter. It makes a lot of sense, especially since he was the Dark Jedi version of an idealist before he found out about the Emperor hoax.
Thanks, that's exactly what I was going for. His original plan really didn't turn out very well in canon, but I get the feeling that the compromises he took in this AU would have made the Darkest Knight idea look a lot better than the lousy crime-syndicate path.
