Dude, they're bringing back The Unit? Yikes. I thought all sources were pretty much sure that that would be gone completely.

I'm kind of surprised. I mean, the ratings weren't GOOD by any means, but they were consistent and that seemed like a good sign, from what Sophia and Jason have said about Joel's feelings over renewal chances. And Joel would have had to have heard all of this from the higher-ups.

Between Speed Racer and this, it's got to be a shitty week for JS.

I hope everything works out for the cast and everyone involved with the show. :/

If they are trying to skew younger, The Unit in Moonlight's time slot is definitely not going to do it.

this makes me really mad. i dont really like cbs to begin with [mostly because they killed wolf lake back in 2001] bringing new series on when the new ones they have now didnt even have full seasons doesnt make much sense.

ive come to notice that pretty much every show ive ever liked gets canceled. especially when they start getting good.

What angers me here is the method. For myself, I've been ambivalent about Moonlight since the 4th or 5th episode.

It's mainly been the draw of Jason Dohring, and then Jason and Alex together, that's kept me watching each week. The plots are awkward and the vampire canon extremely spotty. New story lines introduced and then never referred to again. But I did keep hoping for improvement.

I keep thinking that Joel Silver had to have known about this if, in fact, there is truth to the rumors. I also agree that if he knew -- he's just screwed some people around very badly.

It may not be true, though, that "Moonlight" is canceled. I'm going to just wait and see what happens on Wednesday and if any other sources come forward with solid evidence either way.
