Hmmm, you may not already know this, but this is pretty close to my idea of the perfect A/E fic. They're just hard men who do their illegal shit and then (want to) fuck. There's no "You rescued me because I'm incompetent", just convenience with a little "I care enough to bother". There's no whining about putting on tights, just an easy tease about the wrong print. There's no over-playing of Arthur's sister's adorable choice of sleepwear.

I love how naturally Arthur's survival instinct slots in a persona once he's got the costume in place - "It’s so much easier to be properly grateful with the pretty ones." is gold, imho. GOLD.

This part I can't articulate very well, but here goes. I know they didn't do more than snog a little and admit it's not just a time/place/circumstance thing, and there's implied promises of more to come, but it was SO FUCKING HOT. OMG! HOW THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT?

Oh, sweetie. You have no IDEA how your comment made my day! HS AUs aside I really like them as kick-ass competent ADULTS who are more afraid of being vulnerable than of any physical danger - but brave enough to deal with it for all that.

Also - I kinda love the idea that Eames made sure there were enough props for Arthur to sink into the role, that he knew what would help.

As for the hot? Baby, it's Eames & Arthur...of COURSE it's going to be hot! (aka THANK YOU!)
